Creating Your Account
Welcome to SAMI-X! Setting up your account is quick and easy. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Sign in or sign up – one way for both
On sami-x.com, signing in and signing up are one and the same flow. You don't need to know whether you already have an account:
- Choose Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or enter your email address and tap Continue.
- If you already have an account, we ask for your password. If the address is new, you create your account in the same step: first name and password (at least 8 characters).
- If your account has no password (for example because it was created with a purchase), we send you a 6-digit sign-in code by email.
By choosing “Continue”, Google or Apple you accept the Terms of Use. If you were in the middle of something – say, reserving a private session or joining a live training – you pick up exactly there after signing in. A new account answers the getting-started questions afterwards.
Step 2: Verify Your Email
If you sign up with email and password, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to verify your account. With Google and Apple your address is already verified.
Check your spam folder if you don't see the verification email within a few minutes.
Step 3: Complete Your Profile
Once verified, you can complete your profile:
- Display Name: How you'll appear in the community
- Profile Photo: Upload a photo (optional)
- Language: Choose your preferred language (English, German, or Spanish)
- Combat System Interests: Select which systems you're interested in
With the Combat System selection
"Which Combat System suits you?" (/en/which-combat-system, also linked from the homepage) asks three quick questions: what you want to learn, how you want to train and how you want to start. You then get a recommendation plus two alternatives. Each question is its own step — your browser's back button takes you to the previous one, and you can share the link to your result.
If you sign up right from there, we take over your answers: after signing up you see "Your training is set up" with your system, your goal, your experience and how you want to learn, instead of the questions. Use Change to adjust any line and Start training to begin.
Account Settings
You can reach your account settings at any time through your profile picture: on the web, click it in the top right and choose Account; in the app, tap your avatar in the top left and choose Account.

Membership Options
SAMI-X offers different membership tiers:
- Free: free technique videos from all Combat Systems, selected guided trainings, free live trainings and the community
- SAMI International: for members of a SAMI Center — digital membership pass, exams at the center and exam content for one Combat System
- Single Membership: SAMI-X Panantukan levels 1 to 6, after that always one level above yours
- Full Membership: all five Core Combat Systems levels 1 to 6, guided trainings, all live trainings, Reels and online courses included

Forgot your password
Choose “Forgot password” on the sign-in page and enter your email address. If an active account exists, SAMI sends an email with a button to set a new password. Corporate accounts may show your organisation’s name, logo and colours. Check your spam folder as well. The link can only be used once; request a new one if it has expired. If you did not request the change, ignore the email. Your password stays unchanged.
Sign in with a code
After entering your email address, choose Send me a code by email. You'll receive an email “Your sign-in code” with 6 digits. The code is valid for 15 minutes and can be used once. You can request a new code after one minute. If you were in the middle of something, the email also has a button that takes you straight there – handy if you open the email on another device.
Connect Google or Apple to your account
If you sign in with Google or Apple and there's already an account for the same address, we don't create a second account. Instead you confirm once with your password or a code. After that you can sign in either way, and for your security we send you the email “Apple is now connected to your account” (or Google). If this wasn't you, change your password right away and contact us.
If Google or Apple doesn't open
- Window blocked: Tap the button again. Usually the browser allows the window then. Otherwise sign in with your email.
- Opened in WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook: These apps don't allow signing in with Google or Apple. Copy the link and open it in Safari or Chrome – or sign in with your email, which works there too.
- Forgot your password? After resetting, the link in the email takes you back to where you were.
