Core Defense is built around one idea you can remember under stress: Cover, Crash, Create an Angle, Counter. Module 1 teaches the 4C concept from the ground up — ready positions and tactical movement, open-hand striking, releases from grabs and chokes, defense against strikes along six angles, de-escalation and contact management, and formations for more than one attacker. The instructor chapters are unlocked with an active SAMI instructor license.

- How is the course content delivered?

- Do I need any special equipment?
- No. Comfortable clothing is enough for most exercises. Optionally, you can add pads – we provide suggestions during the course.
